• For $5 - One Hurricane Box
Meals on Wheels PLUS can provide a box with non-perishable food to a needy senior should a hurricane or storm keep drivers from their daily deliveries.
• For $5.32 - less than the price of a fast food “value meal,”
Meals on Wheels PLUS can provide a hot, nutritious meal to a needy senior – often the ONLY meal they will get that day.
• Approximately $26 can buy you movie tickets and popcorn, or round-trip transportation for a senior attending the Adult Day Center.
• For about $32 (the price of a nice bottle of wine), a senior in need can receive one week of meals from Meals on Wheels PLUS.
• For less than the price of a dinner out ($50), a senior with Alzheimer’s or Dementia could get skilled care for a day at the Meals on Wheels PLUS Adult Day Center.
• Approximately $130 can buy a fancy dinner for two, or a whole month of meals from Meals on Wheels PLUS for a needy senior.
