Meals on Wheels PLUS is in need of Volunteer Drivers!
Meals are prepared in the Meals on Wheels PLUS kitchen and delivered by volunteers between 11am and 1pm, Monday thru Friday. For more information, view flyer here or call 941-747-4655.
Meals on Wheels PLUS offices will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Join us for pancakes at Renaissance on 9th on the last Friday of every month. 8-10 am, $5. 941-749-0100.

4-star charity by Charity Navigator!
Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee has earned the prestigious 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities. This rank is given for good governance, sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency. Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee is the only human services organization in the Bradenton/Sarasota area to receive this honor.

The Meals On Wheels Association of America recently released its annual senior hunger report and sadly, Florida is still in the "top ten" in senior hunger rates. In the past five years, the rate increased from 1 in 9 seniors to 1 in 7 seniors who are living with hunger. Please help spread the word - we can make a difference!
Together, we can provide food for the hungry, and cheer for the homebound.
Meals on Wheels PLUS operates many programs including The Food Bank of Manatee, Grandma's Goodies, Senior Wheels, Adult Day Services, and Renaissance on 9th that is home to the 9th Street Bistro, the Senior Enrichment Center, and Turner Ballroom.
