This position provides receptionist duties and administrative support to the Finance Team and all departments throughout the organization.

Major Responsibilities: 

  1. Welcoming and assisting clients, volunteers, and visitors on site.
  2. Answering multi-line phone system and redirecting, as necessary.
  3. Taking messages, as necessary.
  4. Mail Handling: Sort and distribute incoming mail and stamp and prepare outgoing mail, as necessary.
  5. Assist Finance team in carrying out monthly duties, as may be required.
  6. Order and maintain general office supplies, toners for all copiers and printers.
  7. Filing duties (electronic and hard copies).
  8. May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  1. High School Diploma.
  2. Two years’ experience working as a receptionist and administrative assistant.

Special Skills, Tools, Technology Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of general office operations, filing, ability to use office machines.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and other general computer operations.
  3. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow in a busy office setting.
  4. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  5. Upbeat personality with positive attitude and ability to consistently greet and speak with visitors and callers.
  6. Compassion for and able to work with seniors.
  7. Exceptional customer service skills and dedicated to quality output.
  8. Excellent oral and written skills; people oriented; well organized.
  9. Able to meet deadlines for work and follow directions.
  10. Able to sit for extended periods.

Job Type:  Full Time / Non-exempt (40 hours/week) / 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation:  $15.00/hour.

Benefits include 12 paid holidays, 3 weeks paid vacation and medical benefits.
