Receptionist
Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee

This position provides receptionist duties and administrative support to the Finance Team and all departments throughout the organization.
Major Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and assisting clients, volunteers, and visitors on site.
- Answering multi-line phone system and redirecting, as necessary.
- Taking messages, as necessary.
- Mail Handling: Sort and distribute incoming mail and stamp and prepare outgoing mail, as necessary.
- Assist Finance team in carrying out monthly duties, as may be required.
- Order and maintain general office supplies, toners for all copiers and printers.
- Filing duties (electronic and hard copies).
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Two years’ experience working as a receptionist and administrative assistant.
Special Skills, Tools, Technology Requirements:
- Knowledge of general office operations, filing, ability to use office machines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and other general computer operations.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow in a busy office setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Upbeat personality with positive attitude and ability to consistently greet and speak with visitors and callers.
- Compassion for and able to work with seniors.
- Exceptional customer service skills and dedicated to quality output.
- Excellent oral and written skills; people oriented; well organized.
- Able to meet deadlines for work and follow directions.
- Able to sit for extended periods.
Job Type: Full Time / Non-exempt (40 hours/week) / 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $15.00/hour.
Benefits include 12 paid holidays, 3 weeks paid vacation and medical benefits.
