With more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Amy leads the development, marketing, volunteer, and outreach efforts at Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee.
Passionate about raising resources for hunger initiatives and advocating for those who are often marginalized, Amy loves working to advance the mission of The Food Bank of Manatee and Meals on Wheels PLUS.
Amy became a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) in 2009 and has maintained the credential through recertifications in 2012, 2015, 2018, 2021, and 2024. In 2014, she was certified as an Association of Fundraising Professionals Master Trainer.
In 2020, Amy earned the prestigious Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) credential, becoming the 115th professional in the world to achieve this distinction — the highest credential available in the fundraising profession.
Amy earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in 2001 and received a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University in 2005. She later graduated summa cum laude from North Park University with a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Administration and is a lifetime member of the Nu Lambda Mu Honor Society.
