Emergency Nutrition Resources

Emergency Nutrition Resources (ENRs) are programs run by The Food Bank of Manatee to help feed food-insecure families and babies in Manatee County in emergency and crisis situations.

The Emergency Family Program distributes food-crisis stabilization boxes to non-profits for food-insecure families with immediate needs. The boxes provide families in crisis enough food to feed them for a week.

The Baby Basket Program contains critical care items such as formula, baby food, diapers, wipes, and toys for mothers and infants up to 2 years old in critical need. Baby baskets must be ordered in advance through an agency or pantry and parents can pick up the baby basket through that local agencies.

IN THESE UNPRECEDENTED TIMES,
WE NEED YOUR HELP MOST!

In the midst of this unprecedented circumstance, we are working to fulfill the rising needs and costs of our programs to ensure essential nutrition is available to our home-bound seniors, children, and families who do not have access to meals.

At this critical time, we need the community’s support to feed those in need. We are grateful to have received a $50,000, $1:$1 match from The Steven and Natalee Herrig Family Foundation for Emergency Relief.
