Kendra Scott Fundraising Event
Join us at Kendra Scott at the UTC Mall for a special fundraising event benefiting The Food Bank of Manatee and Meals on Wheels PLUS through the Kendra Cares initiative. 10% of event proceeds will be donated in support of our mission to help local children, families, and seniors in need.
Community Harvest Event
Looking for a delicious way to support your community? This September, dine at participating Columbia restaurants during the 29th Annual Community Harvest Event, choose Meals on Wheels PLUS as your favorite nonprofit, and help make a difference for local families, seniors and homebound individuals right here in Manatee County.
Manatee Performing Arts Center: "Arsenic and Old Lace"
We're proud to partner with the Manatee Performing Arts Center for "Arsenic and Old Lace" through their Action Through Acting initiative—supporting both the arts and The Food Bank of Manatee. Bring a non-perishable food donation between September 3–20, 2026, and help make a difference in our community while enjoying this classic production.
Stuff the Bus
Help us stuff the bus with food donations at Publix locations throughout Manatee County. Every item collected goes directly to neighbors in need.
Empty Bowls
The Food Bank of Manatee is the only food bank based in Manatee County and has been faithfully feeding our neighbors in need since 1985.
Every ticket to our 2026 Empty Bowls event makes an impact. Savor a delicious lunch, select a unique keepsake bowl, and help The Food Bank of Manatee provide meals for those who need them the most.

29th Annual Bradenton Runners Club Turkey Trot 5K
Join the Bradenton Runners Club on Thanksgiving morning for the 29th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run & Walk to benefit The Food Bank of Manatee.
Participants are encouraged to support The Food Bank of Manatee through monetary donations and non-perishable food donations. Last year, the event raised nearly $14,000 for The Food Bank of Manatee and Turning Points.
