About The Food Bank of Manatee

The Food Bank of Manatee is the largest hunger-relief organization based in Manatee County, distributing over 4.1 million pounds of food in 2018 to more than 100 local non-profit food pantries, agencies, soup kitchens, and social service organizations.

Food from The Food Bank of Manatee is distributed to individuals and families in need through one of our partner social service agencies. To work most efficiently, we do not provide food directly to the public from The Food Bank. Instead, if you or someone you know is in need of food, please call 211 or visit one of the agencies listed below, and they will help to get you started.

If an individual is over 60 years of age and unable to prepare their own meals, they may be eligible to receive home-delivered meals from Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee.

IN THESE UNPRECEDENTED TIMES,
WE NEED YOUR HELP MOST!

In the midst of this unprecedented circumstance, we are working to fulfill the rising needs and costs of our programs to ensure essential nutrition is available to our home-bound seniors, children, and families who do not have access to meals.

At this critical time, we need the community’s support to feed those in need. We are grateful to have received a $50,000, $1:$1 match from The Steven and Natalee Herrig Family Foundation for Emergency Relief.
