WAYS YOU CAN VOLUNTEER
Delivering meals only requires 1½ hours, one day per week. If a specific area is desired, routes are conveniently available throughout Manatee County and several options are available for meal pick-ups. VOLUNTEER»
The Food Bank of Manatee provides nutritional assistance and caring, supportive services to individuals in need throughout Manatee County by distributing food through non-profit partner agencies and food pantries. VOLUNTEER»
Daybreak Adult Day Center serves older adults in Manatee County with a planned program that includes a variety of health, social, and supportive services in a protective setting during daytime hours. Volunteers assist the professionally trained staff, including an LPN, who operate the program’s daily activities. VOLUNTEER»
Your time and talents may be needed at our Friendship Dining Centers, where seniors gather each weekday morning to exercise, enjoy entertainment, learn arts and crafts, and enjoy a hot, nutritious meal. VOLUNTEER»
