Amy Towery, CFRE, ACFRE
Vice President of Development
With a focus on annual, major, planned, capital, and endowment campaigns, Amy has helped nonprofit organizations achieve ambitious fundraising goals—raising millions of dollars to advance their missions and strengthen the communities they serve. She feels deeply called to the mission of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee and The Food Bank of Manatee and is honored to use her experience to help end hunger in the community.
Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in 2001 and received a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University in 2005. She later graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Park University in 2014 with a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Administration and is a lifetime member of the Nu Lambda Mu Honor Society.
Amy became a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) in 2009 and has successfully maintained the credential through recertifications in 2012, 2015, 2018, 2021, and 2024. In 2014, she was certified as an Association of Fundraising Professionals Master Trainer. In 2020, Amy achieved the prestigious Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) credential, becoming the 115th professional in the world to earn this distinction.
