Your donations make a huge impact in your local community.
You can make a difference! Your tax-deductible donation allows us to provide nutrition and caring, supportive services to babies, children, families, adults, and seniors in Manatee County. 94 cents of every dollar donated goes right back into the PLUS programs of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee.
In addition to the flagship Home-delivered Meals program Meals on Wheels is known for, Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee also operates PLUS programs in Manatee County. Among those PLUS programs are:
- The Food Bank of Manatee, the only food bank and largest hunger relief organization based in Manatee County;
- Daybreak Adult Day Center, the only licensed adult day center in Manatee County;
- Friendship Dining Centers where seniors gather for nutrition, social interaction, and physical activities.
Just $25 provides food for a family of five for two or more days through our Food4Families COVID-19 Emergency Relief efforts.
For about $50, a senior in need can receive one week of meals from Meals on Wheels PLUS.
If you would like to make a donation in honor of or in memory of someone, details can be entered at checkout, in the section following payment information.
Recurring donations are a great way to make an impact all year long!
