As students across Manatee County head back to school, many of them are facing more than just the first-day jitters—they are facing hunger.

With families bracing for the impact of potential cuts to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits, more parents will turn to local food pantries to help feed their children. While The Food Bank of Manatee hasn’t been directly impacted by these cuts, we support over 100 local food pantries that will see the effects first-hand at their distributions.

Your gift today will help us fill that gap—and provide food where it’s needed most. Just $25 provides 17 meals for a family in need. Your gift ensures that families start their day with breakfast, not an empty stomach and all parents facing food insecurity can hopefully breathe a little easier.
