About Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee

We like to say that we are so much more than a meal-delivery service. Through our PLUS programs, we are an advocate for those who are isolated, hungry, alone, and in need of hope.

The mission of Meals on Wheels PLUS is to assist individuals to live independently by providing nutrition and caring, supportive services. Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee offers comprehensive care and essential programs that assist people to live independently. While services include delivering nutritious meals to the elderly and disabled, other essential programs made possible by Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee include: The Food Bank of Manatee, Daybreak Adult Day Center, and Friendship Dining.

Impacting thousands of individuals each year, the programs and services we provide are a literal lifeline to babies, children, families, adults, and seniors in Manatee County. Those who support our mission with their financial support, time, and talents make our critical work possible.
