Our logos are the cornerstone of our brand.  To protect the legal integrity of the brand, it’s important to display the logo large enough to ensure legibility. There should be a minimum clear space around the logo to preserve the integrity and separation of the logo from any other elements. No logo shall be altered or changed in any way. About Meals on Wheels PLUS:

While initially founded in 1972, with the purpose of providing hot, nutritious meals to the elderly and disabled residents of Manatee County, Meals on Wheels of Manatee, Inc. became so much more. The organization grew over the years in response to community needs, and the “PLUS” was eventually added to the name as a way of representing the many other services offered.

The mission of Meals on Wheels PLUS is to assist individuals to live independently by providing nutrition and caring, supportive services. Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee offers comprehensive care and essential programs that assist people to live independently. While services include delivering hot, nutritious meals to the elderly and disabled, other essential programs made possible by Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee include: The Food Bank of Manatee, Daybreak Adult Day Center, and Friendship Dining. About The Food Bank of Manatee:

Since 1985, The Food Bank of Manatee, a program of Meals on Wheels PLUS, has been the largest hunger-relief agency based in Manatee County. In 2021, The Food Bank of Manatee distributed over 3.1 million pounds of food to children and families in need through the 80+ partner agencies and food pantries who receive food directly from The Food Bank of Manatee. Additional programs such as Sack Summer Hunger, Emergency Crisis Food Boxes, Emergency Baby Baskets, and the Mobile Produce Pantry also have a tremendous impact on the accessibility of food for those in need in Manatee County.
